TrackR Bravo Review – Locate your kids,pets or anything you worry losing
Do you worry losing your child in crowd? I do and actually once I was not able to locate my son for 5 mins in a store and I dread that moment to this date. TrackR Bravo or devices like these are good options for parents to keep track of their kids at crowded locations. In this article we are going to review TrackR Bravo and would try to explore its features and limitations.

TrackR Bravo is a Bluetooth based tracking device. It can couple with your phone and will help you locate lost item. You can also press a button on TrackR to locate your mobile phone. It is a coin size device and can attach with your wallet, handbag, keys, pets collar, kids pocket or practically anything you want to track or locate.
In order to test TrackR, I put this device in my son’s pocket when we went to a park and to a library the other day. App showed that there were more than 1400 TrackR users in our locality. TrackkR uses crowd based network hence when another TrackR user is within Bluetooth range of your lost item, you will receive a location update.
We have connected one TrackR device to two mobile phones. Hence when device is near one phone other phone will also get notification about location of item you are tracking.
You can also activate separation alerts which will notify you when you’re about to leave your item behind. But this will drain your cell phone battery hence you should activate it only on need basis.
We observed that tracking was much better in open areas like park but tracking distance was reduced in closed area like library or home.
Installation
It was pretty easy to install TracR using app and installation video is provided below.
Connecting TrackR with 2 mobile phones: Don’t try to install TracR on your second phone, instead signup on your first mobile device and login using those credentials on you second mobile device.
Limitation:
When you connect one TracR device with 2 phones it sometimes get’s confused and doesn’t know which one to ring when you press the button on TracR device.
Ring from TrackR is little feeble and may be difficult to hear in noisy surroundings.
Who should use it
Parents, Seniors, Busy people, practically everyone will have utility of this device or similar products in their lives. Many times, when we are hurrying for work, finding keys on time makes a difference. As mentioned above you can track your kids or pets in a crowded location using this device.
What Can it do for you
Track – When you attach TrackR to an item you will be able to track it using your mobile phone.
Notify – You will get a notification on your phone when your lost item is near some other TrackR user via crowd locate network.
Distance locater – As you search for your item, the TrackR app will show if you’re getting closer to item.
Phone Finder– You can press button on TrackR bravo and it will ring your phone.
Amazon Alexa – Just say, ‘Ask TrackR to find my phone,’ and your Amazon Alexa-enabled device will ring it for you.
Making a Smart Home
TrackR bravo can be a good addition to a smart home as it can help you to be in touch with various items in your home or to track anything you attach this device.
